A group of Harris Signs employees travelled to Wembley Stadium on Sunday to see the Sky Blues take on Oxford United in the EFL Checkatrade Trophy Final. It was the first time that Coventry City had visited the National Stadium since their famous FA Cup victory at the old Wembley Stadium 30-years ago.
Coventry City won Sunday's encounter, with hard fought 2-1 victory and lifted the trophy in front of a record crowd of 74,434 of which more than 43,000 were Coventry City Fans including those from Harris Signs. Our employees were buzzing on Monday morning.
Harris Signs supplied and installed most of the signage at the, Ricoh Arena, where the Sky Blues play their home games, when it opened 2005. This included the giant illuminated roof signs and the painted Ricoh logo on the roof of the exhibition hall.
